These are non-profit making events organized by and for the community in association with the Village Hall’s management committee. Our aim is to promote the best of Borders musical talent, and get people together to meet and enjoy a social and sociable occasion. Tickets for these events are £10, available at the Old Post Office, from Eventim.co.uk, or at the door (if not sold out). Bring your own bottle! There will be a raffle for the Ukrainian Fund.
The hall is taking Autumn bookings. We’re open for weddings, parties, musical performances, dances, fitness classes, society meetings & events, business meetings, craft fairs, seasonal celebrations, etc. You name it, we can probably do it! New equipment has been installed: a water boiler (hot drinks made easily!), a dishwasher, and a smart TV (in the Lesser Hall) which is great for watching TV, playing movies, or as a presentation screen for lectures (and a slide projector and screen is available as well).
In November our ‘Wednesday Warmups’ will start again, this time funded by the National Lottery’s Community Fund. Open to everyone! Warmth, refreshments, newspapers, entertainment, fun – all free!
