A hall for all seasons

Built in 1896 and paid for by the people of St Boswells, the Village Hall has continuously been managed and used by the local community, never having been in the care of the Borders Council. It has stood robustly, at the corner of Jenny Moore’s Road and Main Street, through all weathers, as the following photographs illustrate. Information about the building’s architectural adventures is included in the history section of this website. If you would like to help with its upkeep (something always needs doing, whether outside or in), please click the donations tab in the footer below. Contributions are gratefully accepted, particularly as the pandemic is left behind and the Hall provides a crucial and central venue to help us return to some kind of normality.
