The Mainstreet Trading Company has organized a reading in the hall by Alistair Moffat on Tues 30th August. He will be talking about The Secret History of Here – the story of a single place, his farm in the Borders, a site that has been occupied since pre-historic times. Post-9th August government restrictions will apply. Social distancing measures are no longer mandatory. So, we shall be able to accommodate a good number of people – quite an historical occasion for the hall, a major step on the path out of lockdown.
