There will be an open meeting of St Boswells Village Hall’s Management Committee on the 9th October in the Lesser Hall, commencing at 7pm.
Everyone is welcome!
Come along and hear what’s going on – especially in relation to our ambitious ‘greening’ enterprise, as we work towards zero carbon.
And contribute your ideas, thoughts, suggestions about anything and everything. We want to hear from you!
The building is owned by the community (always has been!), and is managed by a small group of volunteers on its behalf.
We welcome offers of help.
You don’t necessarily have to become a trustee or committee member – there are various tasks which can be assigned which, small in themselves, add up to a major contribution, and help ensure the future success of the hall. Which is one of the largest community centres in the area, a charity and nonprofit run for the benefit of the people who live in our part of the Scottish Borders.
The work is voluntary and unpaid (we are a registered charity), but you would be making a vital contribution to the Hall and village life. Putting your skills to good use – and, indeed, developing them.

In particular. our bookings coordinator could use some help – involving a few hours a week, working from home. (The helper would be guided by the coordinator, who is a member of the management committee.) The liaison with hirers is interesting and fun! Inquiries about this role should go to: booking@stboswellsvillagehall.org
