We regret to have to announce that the Village Hall’s Xmas Ceilidh (planned for 13th December) has had to be cancelled.

Ticket sales were simply insufficient to cover the costs of the event, and a tiny number of people attending would not have made for a successful ceilidh. Apologies to those people who did buy tickets. As ticket sales are usually at the last minute in St Boswells we waited as long as possible.

A full refund will be given at Tony’s, and also online from EVENTIM.co.uk.

The cancellation is especially disappointing as it was the last of the series of “Boogie Nights” live music events in St Boswells Village Hall. These events have created a surplus of £400 donated to the Village Hall Committee for the specific purpose of supporting future music events. Also, the event audiences have generously donated £1200 to Ukraine Humanitarian Funds. Many thanks to everyone who supported these highly memorable occasions – especially Sandy Rosie, their enthusiastic impresario, along with all the musicians and helpers that he brought together.
