Following further lockdown easing after the 9th August, more events shall be possible in the Village Hall. From then onwards, all three halls within the building shall be open for bookings, as before. However, some mandates are still in force, regarding mask-wearing (including by the audiences of performances) and the collection of information for the NHS Test & Protect scheme. For the latest information, click on the Covid Policy button on our website. This is constantly revised, in light of the latest information. The hall’s Risk Assessment and Special (Covid-related) Conditions of Hire are being updated, and shall be appearing on the webpage soon under the Make a Booking tab. Anyone wishing to make a booking will have to accept those conditions, which follow government mandates. But we shall no longer be requiring formal Risk Assessments from users. These are radical changes, and we’ll be delighted to welcome more people, and more kinds of event, back into the hall.
