Renovation Update 3

The demolition phase is now just about complete – the inside is not quite an empty shell, but it’s easy to see how things are going to be radically different behind the stage area. The contractor has now started to erect the partitions for the new toilets: ladies, gents and disabled all in the same block.
The preparation work to install the insulation to the hall ceiling is well underway and the insulation will start to be fixed shortly. The foundations for the new stair enclosure on the back wall have been completed and block work laid to waist height. You will also notice that scaffolding has been put up outside the Hall to allow workers to access the roof – sorry about the inconvenience.
